Host

Kirk Hayman

Kirk Hayman is the host of Prime Time Indiana. Kirk developed an interest in radio as a child listening to AM stations while growing up in the suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio. By his teen years, he volunteered at his high school station in Mentor, Ohio. It wasn’t until his early 20s that his passion for radio led him to attend broadcasting school in Cleveland. During that time, he acquired his first part-time job at a secular AM and FM station near Ashtabula, Ohio. After three years of experience, Kirk started to feel unfulfilled and disenchanted with secular radio. The music format had changed, and he was unwilling to compromise his Christian faith. Kirk began to consider serving the Lord through Christian radio.

In 1986, he left secular radio for good to serve at WCRF in Cleveland, Ohio, owned by Moody Bible Institute. Weeks later, he moved to Fort Myers, Fla., for his first full-time position in Christian radio at WSOR. The Haymans relocated to Kokomo, Ind. in 1993. Kirk became morning drive time host and manager at Moody station WIWC. When Moody consolidated the Indiana stations in 2003, Kirk joined the staff of Moody Radio Indiana in April, serving as senior announcer and underwriter coordinator. Kirk and his wife, Cindy, have two children.
